Must-See Speaker: Digital CPA Keynoter Nicholas Carr

You can tell a lot about a conference from its keynote speakers. When it comes to Digital CPA, we?ve built a pretty compelling track record. Our first year featured Geoffrey Moore, high-tech strategist and author of the technology adoption classic ?Crossing the Chasm.? Last year was Simon Sinek, whose concept of ?Start with Why? is a great framing device for business leaders. Who?s next? For this year, we?ve lined up Nicholas Carr, whose thought-provoking books and articles over the past decade include ?IT Doesn?t Matter,? ?Is Google Making Us Stupid?? and ?The Shallows: What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains,? the latter a finalist for the 2011 Pulitzer Prize in general nonfiction. Of particular interest, he?s also written ?The Big Switch: Rewiring the World, from Edison to Google,? a look at the impact of cloud computing. Carr isn?t the only showstopper. We?ll also have remarks from our CEO Erik Asgeirsson, AICPA President and CEO Barry Melancon, noted political commentator George F. Will, futurist James Canton, and a host of practitioners, thought leaders and rainmakers in the Digital CPA sphere. Come join us at Digital CPA on Dec. 8-10, 2014, at the Gaylord National Resort in Washington, D.C. To learn...
